so im back from prague! had such a great time! its really the last time i was with my whole class like forever now coz next year im gonna be in a new school, a whole new class... anyway just had so much fun running around the hotel at 3am and touring around getting a great tan! went to some really beautiful places and just saw so many other tour groups. lots of fit guys!

anyway back to music. i havent really been listening to music for the past few days coz i dont have a ipod (i hate having earphones in my ears and not being able to hear whats going on around me) and there was no radio in the hotel but as soon as i came back i straight away turned on my radio! i came back at like 1am and i never normally listen to radio at that sort of time but there was some great stuff on. just some genius remixes of great songs. so this morning on the radio, the presenter was like 'and next up some eminem an the killers.' i was so excited coz eminem and the killers and probably my two favourite artists so heard not afraid by eminem and when you were young by the killers. later on they played when the sun goes down by arctic monkeys (title lyrics from there). i used to be obsessed with that song and id forgotten how good it is.

so have a great weekend. im gonna be doing lots of shopping this weekend for france! primark here i come! x

i went to town today and watched new moon finally and wow! it reminded me of when i read the book, which was around the time twilight came out, and i cried so much when i was reading new moon and it was really the same with the film except not as bad! the film had more jokes in so i wasnt crying as much but it was really funny coz i was crying in exactly the same bits as i cried in the book! but me and my friend bought some chocolate so that definitely helped. and i made sure to take out my tissues before the film and i didnt wear any make up! i was well prepared!

i was reading an article in the daily telegraph and the journalist was saying that music nowadays is not about just a great voice, its about owning the song making it your own. its about putting on a performance because truth be told people dont listen to songs if they are crap but the artist has a great voice. its about having the whole package. like billy joel really had a big influence in the music world because he was really a poet with a dreadful voice but people bought (and still buy) his music because of the melodies and the lyrics. im very into lyrics so this definitely makes a lot of sense to me.

at the moment im loving sidney samson, chapel club and bombay bicycle club (i had a dream about them but thats a whole other story!)

i was in h & m today and i cant stay by the killers came on and i got so excited coz its a song from their fourth album that hasnt been released as a single in the uk but i love it. its my favourite song on the album hence the killers title lyrics (theyre from a dustland fairytale)

i was reading this post on a blog i love called amore fashion and she was talking about helena bonham carter and it just reminded me of how much i love her and her whole gothic look. its weird coz i have a friend who has the same look, big black hair, white nearly silver skin. she has such a great 'i dont give a shit' look but still remains a lovely person.

she really inspires me, like desperately seeking susan, to wear black lace and just let my thick black hair just go crazy! i bought a new deep purple eyeshadow from MAC and when i was choosing it i was like to my friend 'i want my eyes to look like two big bruises' and my friend was laughing and was like 'only you rebecca!' i also went into topshop and there was this gorgeous dress that was a sleeveless black lace dress and i was desperate for it but it was forty quid and i would have to wear it with a whole outfit underneath but it would really transform a purple top and skirt to wear that on top. maybe ill save up!

last night i watched airplane which is a film released in 1980 and its just hilarious in that monty python way so if you like that then definitely watch airplane!

ive currently rediscovered the streets. im listening to fit but you know it and dry your eyes. fit but dont you know it is just so funny. its just a normal guy fancying a girl in the queue for some fast food place but its just hilarious the lyrics and btw the title lyrics are from dry your eyes. really beautiful song.

ive also rediscovered rasmus and franz ferdinand so no new music today! oh actually i am loving bombay bicycle club and they are quite new.

those three words are said too much theyre not enough

this is my tribute to autumn but i think it looks more spring like. i dunno why but im suddenly in a very good mood! i think it might have something to do with having two pieces of melt in your mouth chocolate. utter heaven!
so heres whats been happening in the past few days...
on friday night me and a few girls went round to my good friends house and had so much fun! we were playing this great game called articulate and being the sick minded teenagers we are turned everything into something naughty! the whole game is you have to describe something and the other person has to guess what it is like i got 'a pawn' so i said 'something boys always watch on the internet' my friend obviously got it straight away!
and then last night i went babysitting with a friend and just spent a lot of time reading magazines and laughing! then we got back to her house really late and went to sleep listening to the killers latest album, day and age. its such a great album.
so thats been my weekend basically and today i was gonna go to town but i cant really be bothered. i need some new nail polish but ill just get some next week.
oh and this morning i was watching some live florence and muse and really they are both legendary. muse are proper genius! and i love their new single undisclosed desires. its just got some amazing lyrics.
btw the title lyrics are from snow patrols chasing cars. im such a massive fan of them. gary, the lead singer just has such a beautiful voice.
so the weekend is nearly over already have a wonderful day anyway! x

Everytime I try to fly I fall without my wings I feel so small I guess I need you baby

seth and summer in the oc, lana and clark in smallville, juno (love this kiss!), hayley and nathan (they are the only reason i watch one tree hill, i hate chad michael murray with a passion), 500 days of summer (best indie film of the year!), ethan and someone who isnt silver on 90210 (my sister loves this program and i never watch it but the other day i watched 5 minutes of it and totally fell in love with ethan and silver but i couldnt find any good pictures of them together so this will do for now! im still trying to hunt one down) so finally ive done this cute couples post! ive been meaning to do it since this wheels on fire did it (check out the blog here. lots of film photography and if you like the sort of films i do then youll love it) when i started to look for pictures i realised that all the couples i like dont really spend alot of time kissing or looking adorable, they fight alot and have quite an abusive sort of relationship and usually end up breaking up hence the title (britney lyrics from everytime) i really do have bad taste in men!
i just had an immense lunch of:
two pieces of toast with chocolate spread, 3 mini cheese and courgette muffins, a muller corner yoghurt, some yoghurt covered fruit flakes and a cup of mint tea!
i think thats the biggest lunch ive ever had and it was wonderful!
i went shopping just before and bought:
three pairs of knickers in topshop, a flowery blow dryer, some kind of balm from toni and guy to sort out my hair and make it managable, some heat protective spray (also from toni and guy).
maturally my hair has a ridiculous amount of volume so i think im gonna straighten it for the weekend and use the balm to leave it natural for school!
