i didnt really hear much of the coverage coz i actually went to wales this weekend! i went with one of my best friends and a friends babysitting job who we've all become really friendly with. shes 22 but has three kids and just got a divorce and when she was going through the divorce she became really good friends with one of my friends. anyway it was sort of a last minute thing but we went to this caravan on this farm in north wales in the middle of nowhere and just had a lovely time.. really relaxing and peaceful.

but im back for about a week and a bit coz im off to france really soon! im so excited about france!

so back to t in the park: the only performance ive watched is eminems performance which was epic. i swear i was nearly in tears. im so obsessed with eminem its not even funny!

anyway im off to afflecks palace with a few friends today and im just generally spending my holidays on the internet or watching films (i watched the ugly truth last night which was amazing! i now have a new crush on gerald butler and hes scottish! you know how much i love scottish accents!) x

i feel like ive posted these pics before but i dont remember! well anyway i love them so i dont care! theyre from ashlea chavez.

im currently in love with coco sumner. she records under the name i blame coco and she just has this gorgeous voice. youll probably like her if you like husky voices. like a mix between adele and pink! her latest single self machine is just gorgeous. it is a grower but still amazing on the first listen and it just sticks in your head. amazing..

also i havent talked about MGMTs new stuff. i loved their old stuff a lot and when i heard their new stuff i was a bit dissapointed but it turned out that their song its working is a real grower. their new stuff is such a radical change so it took a bit of getting used to but i just love it now.

anyway on to non music related stuff.. we had a really fun party for a friend. with the exams we've not really had the chance to just hang out but we did yesterday and it was just great to be immature and stupid! now i have rude pictures drawn on my arms so i cant roll up sleeves for a few days! its gonna be wierd next year coz we're all doing different things. not seeing all my friends on a daily basis will be very strange.

i just received this award which is very exciting coz i think its my first award! check out her blog here. anyway i have to write about 10 things that make me happy so here goes:

1. music- so much music just puts a smile on my face. im normally into quite depressing stuff but my favourite upbeat artist at the moment is plan b. i just love what he's doing.
2. my friends- especially my friend rivka who is just off her head (in a good way)!
3. food- sorry its quite shallow but honestly having a piece of chocolate makes my day
4. radio- i find it so hard to go a day without listening to the radio. my radio is just always on and if im on the computer then i'll listen online. im just obsessed with radio 1!
5. beautiful photography- i love inspiring pictures. i love those pictures that just make everything look possible. its hard to explain the affect of photography, its just magical..
6. my weird family- my family are just mad but thats how i like it! some people have such normal, non-embarrassing families and i honestly feel bad for them!
7. boys- yesterday i saw the boy my friend has/had a crush on. yep he is fit!
8. fashion- i love dressing up in new interesting styles. yesterday i wore a top with a vest top on top with a black skirt and some grey jeans underneath and my lovely converse. im definitely repeating the outfit! it was so comfy and had this really cool casual look.
9. blogging- writing an amazing post is always so exciting and reading other peoples posts that are amazing.. i just love it!
10. comedy- i love a good stand up to watch when im feeling down. i love russell howard, he is hilarious!

life is pretty shitty at the moment though i feel bad saying that coz after seeing what people went through in the holocaust, i mean thats real shit.

sorry you probably dont know what im on about!

i went on a history trip with my class to london and we went to the imperial war museum. it was quite a sobering experience. its like suddenly you realise that life is so easy. we watched accounts of people who went through the concentration camps, they saw their family die in front of them and they couldnt do anything. its just a scary thought.

so after watching that we then went to covent gardens and i did some serious retail therapy! shopping really is the best thing to get a smile out of me when im down!

so back to my first point. yeah life is being a bit shitty at the moment. just had some horrible mocks today and got even more tomorrow. i havent learnt for any of them! no that doesnt really deserve an exclamation mark. we had modules and then i thought id take a bit of a break from learning and now im too exhausted to learn, im gonna fail every fucking last one. i hate doing this coz its just so depressing. and today i found out my friend whos mum died last year, her dad has leukemia. its just so hard on her. so right im making a positive list:

• music totally helps when you cant go shopping! currently completely obsessed with the virgins who provided the wonderful title lyrics from their song private affair.
• im not failing science so at least that a start!
• i can still look at beautiful pictures and get weird and wonderful fashion inspirations. everywhere i walked in london, i saw different people wearing such amazing outfits, ive got so many ideas for outfits!
• i have my wonderful friends to laugh at! today my friend rivka brought a loo roll to school coz she has a cold and the teacher thought she has stolen it from the school toilets! shes a classic!
• GLEE! that is the reason for my happiness. just watched an episode, they should seriously show it to people going through depression, its just amazing!
• i still have chocolate. food really is the best when youre down and chocolate... its just immense

but most importantly i still have my dreams, ideas and inspirations. im actually feeling way happier after making that list! i advise anyone feeling down to make a positive list now! thanx for all your amazing blogs keeping me inspired x

those three words are said too much theyre not enough

this is my tribute to autumn but i think it looks more spring like. i dunno why but im suddenly in a very good mood! i think it might have something to do with having two pieces of melt in your mouth chocolate. utter heaven!
so heres whats been happening in the past few days...
on friday night me and a few girls went round to my good friends house and had so much fun! we were playing this great game called articulate and being the sick minded teenagers we are turned everything into something naughty! the whole game is you have to describe something and the other person has to guess what it is like i got 'a pawn' so i said 'something boys always watch on the internet' my friend obviously got it straight away!
and then last night i went babysitting with a friend and just spent a lot of time reading magazines and laughing! then we got back to her house really late and went to sleep listening to the killers latest album, day and age. its such a great album.
so thats been my weekend basically and today i was gonna go to town but i cant really be bothered. i need some new nail polish but ill just get some next week.
oh and this morning i was watching some live florence and muse and really they are both legendary. muse are proper genius! and i love their new single undisclosed desires. its just got some amazing lyrics.
btw the title lyrics are from snow patrols chasing cars. im such a massive fan of them. gary, the lead singer just has such a beautiful voice.
so the weekend is nearly over already have a wonderful day anyway! x
