i didnt really hear much of the coverage coz i actually went to wales this weekend! i went with one of my best friends and a friends babysitting job who we've all become really friendly with. shes 22 but has three kids and just got a divorce and when she was going through the divorce she became really good friends with one of my friends. anyway it was sort of a last minute thing but we went to this caravan on this farm in north wales in the middle of nowhere and just had a lovely time.. really relaxing and peaceful.

but im back for about a week and a bit coz im off to france really soon! im so excited about france!

so back to t in the park: the only performance ive watched is eminems performance which was epic. i swear i was nearly in tears. im so obsessed with eminem its not even funny!

anyway im off to afflecks palace with a few friends today and im just generally spending my holidays on the internet or watching films (i watched the ugly truth last night which was amazing! i now have a new crush on gerald butler and hes scottish! you know how much i love scottish accents!) x

sorry i havent been around. its just been crazy with exams but ive finished today! i should feel relieved but i just feel tired! im not really into films and tv programs but i have my programs that i have to watch. anyway one tree hill season 7 has started and i wanna watch it but i havent watched season 6 so i ordered it last week and it just came today so its perfect timing. cant wait to get really obsessed with it! cant believe glee is over. im still in mourning.
anyway onto more interesting topics, music! im just loving so much stuff at the moment so heres a short list of what to check out btw theyre all dance stuff. im so into dance music but the more underground stuff. so here goes:

• skepta-rescue me. i love the sound of this. reminds me a bit of chase and status but a bit more dubstep and deep
• magnetic man-i need air. anyway its a great song by magnetic man which is a new supergroup made up of skream, benga and artwork. all massive DJs in their own right, this song doesnt disappoint.
• fake blood-i think i like it. wow this is just an amazing song. i loved fake blood's remix of animal by miike snow so i was really intrigued to hear this and its just a great song.

maybe its the summer thats making me fall in love with dance music. or maybe its finishing school! you know im going to france in like (nearly) exactly a month. me and three friends are going on the 22 july! its very exciting! i need some new clothes though. i might go shopping tomorrow if i dont get too addicted to one tree hill. okay im going back to my one tree hill now... x (photos from random places and title lyrics from ellie goulding)

anyway ive been very busy lately with courseworks and exams and friends and holidays!

so on sunday i booked to go with some friends to france in july which is very exciting but its in ages! also bought a great blusher from MAC that im just in love with! its a limited edition one with libery of london. the box is just gorgeous!

so now im blabbering about blusher!

i wrote this amazing playlist which hopefully ill post it soon. its like a story and just full of some great songs.

i dunno whats inspiring me to use these pictures today. probably the cold. its snowing! it started on thursday and right now im looking out the window and big snowflakes are falling. theres something beautiful about snow falling but because its manchester and all good things have to come to an end, the snow will turn to slush by tomorrow or worse it will all freeze and the road will just turn into an ice rink. thats what happened last year and i was slipping and sliding to school!

loving all your comments at the moment and i will try and be better at checking at all your amazing blogs. i love the holidays although i wont really be relaxing since ive got exams in janurary but at least i can get some kind of lie in instead of waking up at 7:3o every morning. its such a killer in the winter which reminds me im currently loving the killers first album hot fuss. its so experimental and interesting and brandons voice is just so beautiful.

we are what we dont see we miss everything daydreaming

so im back and ive got a dreadful cold and its not great going on a train when you really wanna be tucked up in bed but i went first class so it was nice and quiet with not many people around so i just read my company magazine and stared out of the window and admired the fit guy who was sitting way to far away from me so i had to stretch to look at him which didnt look very inconspicuous!

so today i was watching an interview with nelly furtado and i realised how much of a fan i am of hers. i loved (still love) im like a bird. its such a beautiful song that i think everyone can relate to. maneater was, and still is, such a massive song. everyone knows it and i remember when it came out, me and my brother were obsessed with it! then theres all good things which was written with chris martin and is such a beautiful song. and then recently she did broken strings with james morrison which i think every girl was obsessed with! its all beautiful and sad and amazing and sounds like pure heaven.

nelly furtado does have an amazing addictive voice but she is also very beautiful (me, jealous? no way!)

to go with my dreadful cold im currently listening to my pink playlist which consists of who knew, i dont believe you and sober. and its on repeat, i wish my voice sounded like that but my throat is nowhere near as sore as hers sounds! i woke up this morning from a dream in which my throat was really sore and i couldnt get any water coz i didnt have any money so as soon as i woke up i went to get a glass of water even though my throat wasnt sore! very strange!

so its the end of the weekend but have a good night x

i dont talk about them enough but the killers are really such a massive part of my life. i know every song of every album, ive loved their music for about 6 or 7 years which really is a long time to like a band when youre only a teenager. i was speaking to my friend and even though we are the top of the school, i still feel like tiny! so back to the killers, i think 'my' song from all their albums has to be bones because it just reminds me of me! i can so relate to it coz im so bony but its more than the lyrics, its the way it starts i mean that beginning still gives me an adrenaline rush! its such a distinctive song that could never be compared to any other song. its so unique and so exciting and has such character. its also dramatic and does what i always do, just break out into song! im like a musical that doesnt stop! but i only sing like a line of a song and its usually off key so not really like a musical! the music video has everyone turning into skeletons and is just one of their best music videos, check it out here. if you wanna buy one of their albums definitely buy hot fuss, their first album, coz its so fresh and beautiful and impossible to describe!

so people i have news! okay its not dead exciting but i am going to london tomorrow for a long weekend just to shop! i only decided to go on sunday coz i wanted to go shopping but im fed up town in manchester so im going to london to go to oxford street (and to visit my dad and cousins). i sound so shallow minded! oh well people can judge me but im just gonna go and have fun! so i will be back on sunday and i wont be blogging when im there so sorry for not checking out your blogs but i really need to pack! lovin the view and the xx at the moment. have a good night x

i am back in manchester and looking tanned! this holiday i have truly been doing nothing except watching tv and reading all kinds of crap! so ive got loads to tell you guys! lets just do this in numbers otherwise its gonna go on forever

1. i know i should totally get over them coz they have been out for AGES but i am still lovin supernova by mr hudson and run this town by jay z. mtv dont play very good music and its all very old but hearing these songs, it was so exciting, the opening chords.. !!
2. i actually hate tv but there wasnt really much else to do so i was watching americas next top model, the hills, laguna beach and of course tons of vh1.
3. i read two very different books. i read plain truth by joudi picoult and it was very interesting and well written. its all about an amish girl being accused of murdering her baby. also about babies, i read heartbeat by danielle steel which was just a cute romance and it had a surprisingly simple storyline. not a great book but just beautifully mindless.
4. today taio cruz did a cover of little lion man which if you read my blog alot youll know i m totally in love with that song and the band mumford and sons. anyway the cover was actually really good so check out the interview and performance here. love to hear your opinion on it

this weeks no. 1

i wasnt going to write another post and im supposed to be packing at the moment (im going tomorrow morning) but i have to deliver the horrible music news that david guetta and akon have reached no. 1. yes they dont deserve it. no song should even be in the charts that is so disgusting. i love david guetta but akon just cant seem to write any lyrics that arent offensive to women and about sex. although lets look on the bright side in this weeks chart is little boots, black eyed peas and many other amazing bands. just a few notes

• esmee denters does have a decent voice but her song isnt exactly ground breaking. maybe shell get more interesting in a few years but im sure shes one to watch out for even though her debut single is so weak
• calvin harris is doing amazing in the charts with ready for the weekend. its an incredible song and im just loving everything hes coming out with at the moment. all very experimental and interesting.
• little boots is very cute and tiny but with an incredible voice. her single remedy which i think reached no. 6 is so catchy!

okay im going to go back to my packing and im not sure when ill be blogging next but have a good night x

okay look at the picture and think of the opposite of that and that basically where im going! me and my friends realised we had nothing to do for a week and we dont wanna spend much money so my friend came up with the idea to go to go to the beach and since we live in england all the beaches are utter crap but im sure we will make the most of it! we only wanna go for the day coz its way too complicated and expensive to stay over but im really excited! my mom is from gibraltar and we go there twice a year to visit my grandparents so i know what a real beach should look like and english beaches are really NOT normal beaches! the tide is like a mile out, its always raining but everyone still walks around in bikinis! its very strange! by the way i am totally loving britney spears at the moment! theres nothing like britney to get you in a good mood! songs like toxic just remind me of such happy times when i was younger! good night x
