i didnt really hear much of the coverage coz i actually went to wales this weekend! i went with one of my best friends and a friends babysitting job who we've all become really friendly with. shes 22 but has three kids and just got a divorce and when she was going through the divorce she became really good friends with one of my friends. anyway it was sort of a last minute thing but we went to this caravan on this farm in north wales in the middle of nowhere and just had a lovely time.. really relaxing and peaceful.

but im back for about a week and a bit coz im off to france really soon! im so excited about france!

so back to t in the park: the only performance ive watched is eminems performance which was epic. i swear i was nearly in tears. im so obsessed with eminem its not even funny!

anyway im off to afflecks palace with a few friends today and im just generally spending my holidays on the internet or watching films (i watched the ugly truth last night which was amazing! i now have a new crush on gerald butler and hes scottish! you know how much i love scottish accents!) x

just had a weekend of singing along to eminem.. his new album recovery has come out and i havent had the time to go and buy it but im listening to it on we7. its epic!

love the way you lie, his song with rihanna is just amazing. that is gonna be a big song (title lyrics from that song). also love airplane, the b.o.b song with hayley williams. love the eminem remix. that is a great link to what im up to tomorrow! im off to prague on a school trip! im gonna be gone til friday.. its very exciting! and then im going to france in a few weeks with a few friends!

anyway back to music. glastonbury has been going on this weekend so i picked out some of my favourite pictures to share with you. i watched the muse set online which was amazing. ive never watched a whole set of theirs but now i see why people call them one of the best live bands. also watched the xx perform their remix of florence's you got the love with florence! ive never seen the xx perform but theyre just amazing.

so the story is: a girl waiting to be discovered (i just want you to know who i am-iris by the goo goo dolls) then she meets someone and its love at first site (coz maybe youre gonna be the one that saves me-wonderwall by oasis) and its all amazing with her boyfriend even writing a song for her (look at the stars, look how they shine for you.. i wrote a song for you and all the things you do-yellow by coldplay) then she walks in on him cheating on her (who's this woman in my bed.. get the hell off of my baby-ouch by N-DUBZ). she cant take the lies that hes telling her, the stories he's making up (if youve got no kind words you should say nothing more at all-no kind words by the maccabees) she tells him its over and he straight away starts dating the girl he cheated on her with (when i see you walking with her i have to cover my eyes-cover my eyes by la roux) and everytime he's with his new girlfriend he ignores her (you grace me with your cold shoulder, whenever you look at me i wish i was her-cold shoulder by adele) and she has her moments when she cant manage with out him (i feel so small, i think i need you baby-everytime by britney spears) and she feels like she cant go another day without him (im falling apart, im barely breathing, with a broken heart thats still beating-broken by lifehouse) but she realises what a dickhead he is and she decides to get her revenge (im gonna tell them all youre rubbish in bed now and that youre small in the game-not big by lily allen) and she realises how blinded she was by him (how come id never hear you say i just wanna be with you, i guess you never felt that way-since u been gone by kelly clarkson)

so that is the story. i wrote this playlist a few weeks ago while on holiday and its basically alot of my favourite songs put together. the only song i dont like too much is the N-DUBZ one but it fit too perfectly to miss it out. the only bit missing is a good 'ive moved on' song but i couldnt really think of any coz all songs about moving on such as not big by lily allen actually show that they havent moved on when you read the lyrics!

anyway ive been very busy lately with courseworks and exams and friends and holidays!

so on sunday i booked to go with some friends to france in july which is very exciting but its in ages! also bought a great blusher from MAC that im just in love with! its a limited edition one with libery of london. the box is just gorgeous!

it's been three weeks since i got a decent sleep, i've a restless head and an empty bed... these dreams are killing me

i saved the picture above under the name 'tattooed beautiful boy with cig looking beautiful and lost' and i saved the guy underneath under the name 'smoking shirtless beauty'. i think that says it all!

can we just talk about how genius i am to find this lyric?! how well does it go with the photos?!! i was just listening to marina and the diamonds and i heard these lyrics in her beautiful song i am not a robot and theyre just perfect for the gorgeous photos.

i dont normally like male models but i do have a folder of the male models i think are just damn right beautiful and these two are just amazing. i dunno what it, maybe the tattoos or the beautiful 'broken but dont give a shit' look. does that make sense?!

okay lets talk music:

im still totally obsessed with glee. its just immense and just makes me smile so much! just writing about it gets me excited!! oh im a sad old soul!

im currently listening to the skream remix of in for the kill by la roux. its all dubstep and beautiful. oh i love it!

other bands im loving are the virgins, the drums and this morning i heard mr brightside by the killers on the radio: it was an epic moment singing along with a hairbrush while halfway through getting dressed so i was wearing my school shirt with my pj bottoms and my hair in one big curly mess! theres something amazing about hearing a song you love on the radio even if you have the album so could listen to it at any time. its those first few notes, the big adrenaline rush, is it weird i get adrenaline rushes from the killers and not from roller coasters (i hate roller coasters with a passion)?

sorry im so bad with writing posts. i try and keep up with all your blogs but i dont really have that much time to write. i was writing my english AS coursework with my friend and just coming up with total examiners porn (explanation: writing an essay that is so beautifully written and quoting all the right quotes if i dont get a good mark for this essay HEADS WILL ROLL!) For my essay im analysing an article from Grazia which is just wonderfully written and even has a reference to Florence (yes THE Florence from florence and the machine)

so it is time to leave you beautiful people once again. im going to london on monday on a school history trip just for one night but i cant wait to tell you all about it! x

i was just looking into my picture folder of musicians and i was just drawn to each of these pictures. let me explain (in numbers):

1. florence-i wasnt going to use a florence picture coz ive used all of them but then i saw this picture which i havent used before and its just so beautiful. i love the way florence performs. she also always paints her nails gorgeous dark shades which i get really excited about! is it weird to get excited about nails?! well kidsister (fourth picture) wrote a whole song about them so im not the only one!
2. eminem-i have been listening to the slim shady LP which i have to say is genius. i talked about it in the last post so if u wanna know more then scroll down!
3. how cute is this picture of la roux?!! shes one of the people who makes me proud to have short hair. she just looks soo cool and individual which is exactly what i want my short hair to look like but my hair is really shoulder length so its not quite the same!
4. kidsister-i just love her. shes just crazy and makes such great music. shes so upfront and has such great attitude. she just has so much energy, she really does remind me of pink even though her music is very different. im really having problems describing what i love about her shes just immense (i love that word!)
5. how great is bleached blonde hair on guys?! i dont like blond guys but bleached blonde is a whole other story. i loved eminem with his bleached hair. it just went with the whole 'dont give a fuck' attitude. mr hudsons bleached hair is a bit too neat for me. it looks like he touches it up every few weeks. i like it when it looks really in need of a touch up. sorry im so specific about these things. okay lets just forget blondes and keep to the black/brown haired boys!

i was reading a book questionnaire onlauras blog and i decided to adapt it to make it a music questionnaire so here goes:

la rouxs self titled album and deadmau5 with random album title.

i love the deadmau5 album coz its just great to have on in the background. like great chill out music. la rouxs album is just immense. her voice is just beautiful and really powerful.

last album i got in the post:

i never order albums online coz its just to organized for me. i always buy albums as a sort of spur of the moment thing. theres something to do before im 16, buy an album online!

the first album ive listened to over and over:

im not sure what it was maybe snow patrol eyes open. yeah it probably was that. what a great album. thatsmy winter album. i always get really into it in the winter and then in the summer i just dont listen to it at all. i just has this snugly feel. does that make sense?!! its hard to explain a feeling but yes my review of the album: its snugly!

music everyone should listen to:

i think muse changed the way i listen to music so their music should pretty much be compulsory to listen to! maybe also eminem for his lyrics. its weird coz ive grown up with his music since i was like 8 or 9 ive been so into his music! i dont think i really appreciated his lyrics then, i just liked his music and his voice. even his voice though is offensive!

best place to listen to music:

i like having music on all the time but when i really want to listen to an album properly then ill curl up in bed and listen. it can always get a bit annoying listening to music with friends coz we all have such different tastes.

i was thinking about it the other day and i realised im so different to all my friends so i told one of my friends this and she was like 'rebecca no ones like you!' charming!

an album i just bought for the cover:

i never really randomly buy an album like i always only buy an album from an artist which i know loads about and really love the music so ive never bought an album for the cover but i do love the sams town cover.

scariest music ive ever heard:

hmm. im not sure about this. i like scary gothic music so it doesnt really scare me but i think bones by the killers could be quite scary . i was watching the music video with my cousin and she was like 'what the hell is this?!' i had to change it coz she just found it so weird but i love it! its one of the cleverest music videos(in my opinion!) check out my post about it here.

most romantic song:

i think it would have to be look after you by the fray just because of the gorgeous clana music video on youtube. i you type in 'clana look after you' then youll find it. i never even knew about smallvillle until i watched that and really smallville is just crap but that video is beautiful. also sweet disposition is beautiful (by the temper trap).

music that changed my life:

all music changes my life in some way but as i mentioned before it would have to be muse.

albums ive re listened to the most:

umm it would have to be eyes open or maybe hot fuss by the killers.

music i like that no one else seems to:

i always like those 2nd singles that everyone else hates. artists always come out with their 1st single and im like this is crap and then i hear the second single and im like GENIUS!

this happened with spaceman by the killers and i love robbie willians second single although ive forgotten the name but i can tell everyone doesnt like it!

music i dont like that everyone else seems to:

i think it would have to be stuff like basshunter and cascada. i just hate it! im not really big into N-DUBZ or the sort of RnB that jay sean does. i think a song has to have at least one of these things to be good:

1. an interesting melody
2. a beautiful voice singing
3. amazing lyrics

in my opinion muse do all three in almost any song they make but things like basshunter are just dreadful coz the lyrics are dreadful, the melody (if u could call it that) is boring as hell and basshunters voice is pretty average so i just find the music boring and mildly irritating.

can i just say that i like a lot of music. i like to listen to a massive range of music so there are actually only a small amount of artists that i really dont like because if i had to write a list of music i love it would be way way longer than the list of music i dont like!

number of albums i own:

i dunno. not as many as i would like but i never have enough money to buy albums so something like florences album i love, but i dont actually have the album i just listen to it on the internet.

must have music accessory:

that would have to be ears! and an open heart to absorb the music and let it move you and change you and teach you weird and wonderful things.

music destination i want to go to:

im desperate to go to glastonbury oh and i wouldnt mind going to ibiza. its like the capital of club music and im a sucker for a good remix!

top three favourite artists:

im gonna answer this question as top three artists i listen to most coz my top three artists change by the hour like now its chase and status, nirvana and muse!

2. florence and the machine

i cant think of a third one. it could be muse or la roux or pink or so many other artists so its my top two artists i listen to the most!

the reason i started a music blog:

once i started reading blogs i wanted to make one and since everyone has a fashion blog and at the time i didnt know any other music blogs so instead of writing about my fashion inspirations i decided to write about music although fashion sometimes creeps its way into my posts!

i was planning on making this a bright, colourful post but i was just drawn to all the black and white beautiful pictures and im too tired to argue with myself!

so this pictures are not just random, should we just do this in numbers? (starting from top)

1. i love paloma faith coz she just has such an incredible voice and some great lyrics. she really knows how to write a good pop song (maybe she doesnt write them). im still totally obsessed with new york even though its been around for ages!


2. i just got la rouxs album which is just amazing. another woman with an incredible voice. i love all her singles that shes released but its worth buying the album coz theres some more incredible songs on there. i love tigerlily and not just because of the name but what a great name for a song! she also writes some incredible lyrics like i never knew in for the kill had such amazing lyrics until i got the album and read the lyrics.


3. mr hudson. i still havent got over supernova but white lies, his second single is just immense and i love the song he did with jay z, young forever. obviously not as good as the original but still beautiful all thanks to mr hudsons beautiful voice!


4. florenece who seems to be the artist i speak most about on this blog has just done it again with youve got the love. ive been into this for a long time and live its just wow! but now shes released it and its just so good to hear on the radio and the xx remix! ive already talked about this but when im excited about something i cant shut up about it!

so lets talk sport well actually not sport but more specifically the hot guys who play it. theres something magical about watching a cute guy play a sport theyre good at! its that intense look of concentration its so damn sexy! so imagine how excited i was to find this interview with jenson button who i never even knew was fit! people are always talking about louis hamilton who btw i think is so uncute but anyway you never hear about anyone else in formula one! so check out the interview here and id love to know what you think! oh and btw isnt it so annoying that they are all so boring. its the same with andy murray they just have these deep voices that put you to sleep!

kid sister. i dunno why im starting a post like this but what the hell. so yes, kid sister. she was on radio 1 last night and she is so hilarious. her music has so much character and shes so opinionated. its something that really gets to me, when people have no opinions. i just hate people who have nothing to say for themselves. thats why i hate people like leona lewis, she just bores me to death and i wish she would just say something controversial just to show she isnt a robot. she actually gets me really depressed coz shes just such a sad person. thats why i love people like la roux and lily allen who just say what theyre thinking. if they think some music is shit, they say its shit. really its about honesty. they arent afraid to speak their minds but leona, okay we arent talking about her anymore, im gonna scream with frustration soon about her. its like just smile girl!

did i tell you how excited i am to have rihanna back?! she makes such great music and i love russian roulette. im not really into the blonde hair thing but whatever im lovin her music now so i really dont care what shes doing with her hair!

some sad news

i am leaving you. im just going to say it straight! i am leaving the wonderful blogging for a whole 6 days (me trying not to be melodramatic is like a fish surviving out of water ie its never gonna happen!) i am off to see my dad who lives in london and i am very excited. im going to the theatre, camden market and oxford street and possibly other shopping places. i love shopping and my dad is willing to take me. im quite excited as my dad is taking a few days off from work but a few days im just gonna go around london by myself which is just so cool. i remember last time i went and i just went to oxford street by myself then came back and let myself into my dads flat and i just felt so independent. thats something i am so grateful for. coz my mom hates shopping i have been shopping by myself for a long time. i got a debit card when i was twelve. thats the great thing about having divorced parents, you really have to be independent.

so abit of music to listen to:

• okay you know my florence obsession. just check her out. legendary.
• la rouxs song quicksand is my new obsession even though its quite old. la roux is just amazing and so talented.
• lily allen is so talented and she has come back with an amazing album.
• pink has just got the most gorgeous sexy voice. its amazing. im so desperate to have a voice like that. id do anything for it.
• calvin harris has got some amazing songs out at the moment namely ready for the weekend
• the streets-fit but you know it. just heard it on the radio and its so cool. the lyrics are so amazing. amazing is my new favourite word.
• nelly furtado. shes just done that flo rida song jump which is decent but i love some of her older stuff like maneater.
• run this town. im sure youve heard so much about this. its a monster! jay z, rihanna and kanye west. it cant be anything but amazing and they really dont disappoint with this killer of a tune!
• check out the goo goo dolls who are just amazing. they have some new stuff but iris is still my favourite. just beautiful music.

when i was looking at this weeks top 40 i saw la roux and it just reminded me of her. elly is amzing with such a cool voice and shes so quirky and cool! i just love her. really great tunes and there has been some amzing remixes of in for the kill. this week shes at no.7 with bulleproof, a previous no. 1. if you like dubstep check out the dubstep remix of in for the kill. its legendary! expect big things from this lady! by the way, dont you just adore her hair?!
