there are so many amazing collaborations at the moment. the top 5 in the chart update on wednesday was all collaborations!

this is how it looked:

1. airplanes by b.o.b ft. hayley williams. i am still totally addicted to this song. its just amazing, good emo pop.
2. love the way you lie by eminem ft. rihanna (title lyrics from this). this song is so addictive! when i first heard they did a collaboration i thought eminem would have done a calmer song, a bit less controversial but no this song is literally about abuse! its a bit wierd after the whole chris brown thing but anyway its such a beautiful song.
3. bang bang bang by mark ronson and the business. this song just gets in your head. im singing it now! its good quirky, fun pop! the perfect summer tune.
4. we no speak americano by yolanda be cool and DCUP. who would call themselves DCUP but anyway i love this song. its a really grower but such a great dance tune. just loving it and its nice to hear a bit of spanish!
5. just be good to green by professor green and lily allen. this song is probably one of my favourite collaborations this year. just love the contrast of their voices. its beautiful yet fun and an exciting song.

so that was the top 5 on wednesday. hopefully it will stay like that coz its been a long time since the top 5 looked this good. last summer there wasnt such great music around but it seems this summer is gonna be a summer of amazing music!

okay i think im gonna be taking a break from blogging. im going to france on thursday for 12 days. i think i just need a break from blogging to sort of remind me why i started blogging. btw im gonna be away for my blog's first birthday but just wanna say thank you to everyone who reads/follows my blog and thank you to all those of you who write blogs that really inspire me. love you all xxxx

dont you just love hayley williams?! i just love the girl. paramore's new single careful is great. i could listen to paramore all day. anyway these pictures are all about airplane coz im just obsessed with that song as well as the jay z remix of xxxo by MIA.

so a bit of new music:

1. monarchy-love get out of my way. ive loved monarchy for a long time now and this song is just great. quite indie and fun.
2. pulled apart by horses. i love this band coz they just scream but in a weird way its very therapeutic! this summer im really into dance music but i think this winter i might start getting into rock. its a genre that ive only really scrapped the surface of.
3. middle east- the darkest side. cant remember how this song goes. i just remember that its very indie and just gorgeous. im so crap at research!
4. broken bells-the ghost inside. cant really descibe it. just amazing! very indie and just this great laidback sound.

and that is a very random mix of stuff but i think monarchy is a one to watch although my predictions are normally wrong! however i did say holland were gonna win uraguay and they did! cant wait to the world cup final! x (title lyrics by eminem from airplane. how great is the concept of rap olympics?! do they actually exist? i hope they do!)

just had a weekend of singing along to eminem.. his new album recovery has come out and i havent had the time to go and buy it but im listening to it on we7. its epic!

love the way you lie, his song with rihanna is just amazing. that is gonna be a big song (title lyrics from that song). also love airplane, the b.o.b song with hayley williams. love the eminem remix. that is a great link to what im up to tomorrow! im off to prague on a school trip! im gonna be gone til friday.. its very exciting! and then im going to france in a few weeks with a few friends!

anyway back to music. glastonbury has been going on this weekend so i picked out some of my favourite pictures to share with you. i watched the muse set online which was amazing. ive never watched a whole set of theirs but now i see why people call them one of the best live bands. also watched the xx perform their remix of florence's you got the love with florence! ive never seen the xx perform but theyre just amazing.

when i listen to music on the computer i use we7 which doesnt have music videos, just songs but its great coz i can listen to whole albums. just got reobsessed with mumford and sons. i forgot about them for like a week! what an amazing band. at the moment my favourite indie boy bands are: the big pink and mumford and sons.

this is marina and the diamonds and not only is she beautiful she has the voice of an angel. sort of reminds me abit of regina specktor but more indie. check out i am not a robot. really good lyrics. she was on radio 1 last night and she admitted that when she was younger she would do anything to become a singer including auditioning for a boy band! also shes a die hard britney fan! love the girl!

you probably know for the work shes done with other artists but kidsister is going totally solo! she has so much attitude and her music, im not sure who to compare her to. shes very hiphop and a bit indie. just check her out!

so they dont need an introduction but i have heard paramore new single which is out at the end of november. it sounded very katy perry but i love katy perry so its all good! its called brick by boring brick so check it out and tell me what you think!

im so shit at loving you im not sure what the fuck to do

red hair is soo in right now and im totally lovin it! but it has to be red not ginger. im thinking of using henna in my hair coz i dont wanna try any harsh products on my hair. so im getting my hair cut on thursday and its soo scary. its gonna be like the scariest rollercoaster ever but even worse! its gonna be very traumatic. im giving my hair to a cancer charity and they use the hair to make a wig for a cancer patient so its not a pointless haircut but its gonna be very hard. ive got to have 30cm off which means instead of my hair being past my waist its gonna be like a bob! its gonna be very different but thats what i want. its like a new beginning. im gonna look so different. its very scary and exciting!
so onto music, im lovin pink floyd another brick in the wall. its legendary, my friend likes singing it when shes getting told off in school ('we dont need no education')! as well as having legendary lyrics its also really tuneful and beautiful.
paramore are so fun and hayleys hair (last picture) is sooo cool! im lovin ignorance at the moment so i wrote the lyrics on my hand so everytime i look at my hand i see 'ignorance is your new best friend'. go paramore! just good american emo pop.
congrats to taio cruz on the new no. 1 with break your heart. very addictive song. have a good night x

okay amazing news! jay z, rihanna and kanye have made it to no. 1! im so happy just so good and im soo excited for rihannas new album! its gonna be big! congrats to them!

this band ive always liked just didnt know their name and im just totally obsessed with thats what you get. such a fun song! enjoy and how pretty is hayley? love the red hair!
