i shouldnt like the way models looks smoking coz i know smoking is wrong blah blah blah but there is something so beautiful and self destructive about it. i guess i like the look in the same way as i like the look of self destructive boys like some of the pictures of eminem, he looks so broken. i love the look of a guy who looks like hes smoked too much dope and its finally got to him. i love the pained look, like its gonna kill him to say those words but he says them regardless.
but i know i never wanna date someone like that. these guys, theyre just so beautiful. like kelly clarkson says, 'a beautiful diaster' guys like kurt cobain, heath ledger are just sooo beautiful. i look at pictures of heath ledger and he is just so beautiful and i just wanna cry that we lost him. thats the thing with these sort of guys, they are so tragic, they always end up dying young. and so dramatically.
what a depressing post! im in a really wierd place at the moment (just listening to regina specktor laughing with)
so i never really talk that much about the blogs i love so i thought id tell you a few:
the steel closet- such a fun blog to read with very regular posts. topics often talked about: fast food, video games, funny little nothings, interesting facts and random cartoons.
kaelas room-lots of beautiful pictures and interesting fashion shoots. also there are some very cool underwater shots that she has taken. very jealous of her camera!
tangerine umbrellas on an indigo day-a blog written by two very interesting girls. just such a cool name for a blog! anyway they do film reviews, shoots of what they wear and other interesting things.
and lastly that was subtle-a blog written by an aussie who is travelling around alot. now she is in spain which sounds so beautiful.
i do love so many blogs and i cant describe to you every single one so check out the beautiful blogs list at the side of the page. the weekend is drawing to a close so hope you had a great time this weekend and get some sleep tonight coz its back to school/work tomorrow! x

Thanks for listing those blogs, I will check them out. I agree smoking can look cool in some photos, but I find the reality and dependence of it all far worse.
i too find something oddly alluring in pictures of models smoking...i shouldnt because its a terrible habit but i do anyway...they always look so sexy:S

oh yea, smoking is beautiful! theres a blog dedicated to images of it from magazines and editorials etc, i think its 'lesmokingimage.blogspot.com' its gorgeous. And yes, I will always love the helpless addict look. theres something about it that appeals to even the most sensible girl!
